A college teacher in North Carolina once found out that her bookshelves were stuffed with old students’ papers (yes, it was in the days when Google Docs were not as popular). There was no point in keeping them any further, and she decided to digitalize them. One of her students suggested helping her create a database to facilitate the search of the necessary file. And whenever she needed to show her students a good and a bad example, all she had to do was enter the right keyword.
Years passed, and the database grew. Thousands of students wanted to share their intellectual work with their peers. The resource became too extensive to be run by a single person, and then the Sample Fellow team appeared.
